Storyline:
Greg Heffley, middle school is a stupid idea ever invented. His place rigged with hundreds of social landmines, not the least of which are morons, wedgies, swirlies, bullies, lunchtime cafe eviction floor - and festering cheese pieces were lice, rthamore. In order to survive the endless trials and achieve recognition and status he feels he deserves that luxury, Greg devises an endless series of can't-miss schemes, which, of course, to go; awry. And hes get it all on paper, via a diary - it's not a diary, diary! Greg insists, preferring the less establishment sissyfied - filled with his opinions, thoughts, tales of family trials and tribulations, and (would) dominates the school.
